랜들 먼로의 <위험한 과학책>의 표지를 리디자인했다. 원래 이 책은 엉뚱한 과학질문을 전문적으로 답해주는 하나의 두꺼운 양장본인데, 가볍게 읽을 수 있도록 작은 3권으로 분권하였다. 전체적으로 겉표지의 흑백 그래픽 위에 반투명한 싸개의 컬러풀한 텍스트가 대비된다. 각 권마다 위험한 물질처럼 보이는 네온컬러를 사용했으며, 대표로 뽑은 과학질문을 일러스트로 그려 표지에 넣었다. 또한 과학질문들이 책등에서 책표지까지 이어지게 만들었다. 꽂혀있는 책을 봤을 때 끊어진 질문으로 인해 표지가 궁금하도록한 의도이다. 뒷표지에는 따라하지 말라는 경고문을 넣어 좀더 위험하게 보이도록 했다.

I redesigned the cover of Randall Munroe’s <Dangerous Science>. In the book, Munroe, a physicist and a robotics expert, answers quirky scientific questions. It originally was one thick hardcover, but I divided it into three small volumes for light reading. Overall, the B&W graphics on the cover contrast with the colorful text on the semi-transparent book wrap. Three neon colors, each suggestive of a dangerous substance, are used. Illustrations depict representative science questions on respective covers. Also a series of scientific questions start from the spine and continue onto the backside. The questions were interrupted and divided in half on purpose to make the reader wonder about the latter half of the question when he or she sees the spine of the book on the bookshelf. On the back cover, a danger alert warns the reader of the potential hazard in mimicking the experiments.
