<Merry Edition>은 홀리데이 시즌을 위한 패키지 디자인 프로젝트이다. 이 패키지는 홀리데이의 아침부터 밤까지 쓸 Aesop, Mac, Santa Maria Novella 제품들로 구성되어있다. 화려한 홀리데이를 위해 은빛 종이를 사용했으며, 제품마다 홀리데이 상징물로 비유했다.

Aesop은 아침을 일깨워주는 스킨케어 라인이다. 입술을 붉은 열매로 만들어줄 립밤과 눈처럼 촉촉한 피부를 만들어줄 마스크팩으로 구성되어있다. 삼각형 모양과 적은 컬러로 다른 라인들과 차별점을 주었다.

Mac은 화려한 파티를 위한 색조화장 라인이다. 파운데이션 위에 아이섀도우를 얹는데, 크리스마스트리 위에 포인세티아로 장식하는 것과 같다. 같은 크기의 사각형 패키지로 세트이다.

마지막으로 Santa Maria Novella는 고요한 밤을 장식할 바디오일 라인이다. 앞의 두 라인과는 달리, 밤 풍경 컨셉이다. 가장 고급스런 라인으로 겉이 수플레처럼 부드러운 종이를 사용하였다.

<Merry Edition> is a package design project for the holiday season. The package consists of products from three beauty brands for use from morning to night: Aesop, Mac and Santa Maria Novella. For a festive appearance, I used silver paper, and each product was likened to a holiday symbol on the cover of the packaging.

Aesop’s skin care line awakens the skin first thing in the morning. It consists of a lip balm that makes lips as red as berries and a mask pack that moistens the skin like fresh snow. The triangular shape of the packaging and minimalistic color tones distinguish Aesop from other lines.

Mac’s colorful makeup line is perfect for a fancy party. Using an eyeshadow on a foundation is like decorating a Christmas tree with a poinsettia. The set includes two square packages of the same size.

Finally, the body oil line from Santa Maria Novella brings soothing tranquility in the nighttime. Unlike the previous two lines, the package design for Santa Maria Novella products was inspired by the nightscape. As the most luxurious line, soft paper like souffle is used.
